Several of our new players are still wrestling with technique issues on how to do a successful underwater hockey flick (for really new players this is how we take shots and do passes). I have tried to break down the flick into its components so it is easier to visualize how to improve the skill.
The filming by WESH TV has been moved from January the 8th to the 15th. We will still expect everyone to show up for practice on the 8th.
Friday was a great practice session. Sid (a UF player) and his little brother joined us and we had full teams on both sides. Sid really raised the bar for level of play and it was a great learning experience.
For all of our players that have been MIA for a while Lucky would like to “formally” (yes he is wearing a tie) invite you back to start playing with us. We always are there every wednesday and friday nights. No excuses for the new year.
Seriously, this is an underwater hockey tie. Everybody should own at least one.
